THE drafting of the Data Protection Act is being finalised by the Attorney-General's Chamber and will be tabled in Parliament next year, said Deputy Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Mansur.
He told the Dewan that the Act would protect personal data from being sold to a third party by IT firms.
