PETALING JAYA: A family law expert has suggested that the Federal Constitution be amended to better protect the welfare of children whose parents resort to religious conversion to gain custody of their children.
Lawyer Balwant Singh Sidhu proposed that a provision be included in the Constitution to state that children under a certain age should not be converted when one of the parents did so.
