UTP invites Dr M to become chancellor

IPOH: Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has accepted Universiti Teknologi Petronas' invitation to be its new chancellor. 

Its corporate service manager, Mohamad Zahir Abdul Khalid, said Dr Mahathir would be the university's second chancellor after his official appointment on April 1.
