PENANG: Response to Pos Malaysia's 46th National Day first day cover is good despite the mistake in the 30 sen stamp featuring a flying Jalur Gemilang with only 12 red and white stripes instead of 14.

State Pos Malaysia philatelic division marketing officer Abdul Latif Shaik Ahmad said he learnt of the mistake from a collector in Sungai Petani and also from the vernacular press after the stamps were issued nationwide on Aug 19.
