Man known for wit, dedication and tolerance

PETALING JAYA: Tun Sulaiman Ninam Shah will be remembered not only for keeping delegates in check during Umno general assemblies during a span of 28 years but also for his witty quips and dedication to the party. 

Even when he was warded, the plucky Sulaiman “took leave” from his treatment to chair the Umno special assembly in November 2000.
