PUTRAJAYA: The Prime Minister has accepted Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik's resignation as Transport Minister yesterday.
Dr Ling, 60, who held the post since January 1986, said Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad has also approved his 30-day leave effective today and the new MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting would be the acting Transport Minister until Dr Mahathir announces the new minister.
