KUCHING: The high number of rapes committed by family members and neighbours of the victims is a worry for state authorities, said Social Development and Urbanisation Minister Datuk Dr James Masing.
He said out of the 329 such cases reported in the past four years, 76 or 23.1% were committed by the victims’ family members and 77 or 23.4% involved their neighbours.
