KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Jamil Johari bade farewell to the police force after 32 years of service in a colourful ceremony here yesterday.
As Jamil and his wife Puan Sri Zahrah Seruji arrived at the Police Training College (Pulapol) in Jalan Semarak here, they were ushered to the function area in a horse carriage with policemen, donning traditional police uniforms including those from the colonial era, standing at attention along the road at 5pm.
