SINGAPORE: Ong Poh Lim, who introduced the 'crocodile serve' and brought world badminton fame to Malaya, died yesterday morning at the Changi General Hospital. He was 80.
He was a member of the talented Malayan team that won the inaugural Thomas Cup in London in 1949 and successfully defended it in 1952 and 1955 at home.
