PETALING JAYA: The Terengganu Department of Environment (DOE) issued a stop-work order yesterday on the construction of a jetty on Pulau Redang by the Laguna Redang Island Resort.
DOE officer Jamaludin Sulaiman said the developer must conduct a hydraulic study on the jetty and seek approval for the structure from the Fisheries Department and the Drainage and Irrigation Department.
