KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia will be able to withstand the immediate adverse economic effects if there is a war in Iraq but the medium- and long-term effects are worrying, National Economic Action Council (NEAC) executive director Datuk Mustapa Mohamad said.
He said Malaysia’s resilience was the diversity of its economy that included commodities, petroleum and manufacturing activities.
