Be ready for war, bosses told

KUALA LUMPUR: Employers have been urged to make contingency plans to ensure that workers' welfare are looked into in case a war breaks out between the US and Iraq. 

Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn said any retrenchment as a result of the war should be a last resort and employers should view the situation as temporary.
