CAIRO: Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s public lecture to a gathering of international scholars and academia at the Al Azhar University today will be the highlight of his two-day working visit to Egypt.

According to local press reports, the group was keenly anticipating the Prime Minister’s speech on “Muslim Unity in the Face of Challenges,” followed by a two-hour dialogue, especially at this time when the United States and Britain are deploying troops to the Gulf in anticipation of war with Iraq.
