BASK in the timeless beauty of Batik at the Batik Lestari Festival where you can see the colourful motifs and patterns in designs from the Batik Lestari Design Competition while experiencing the block batik workshops by Batik maker Encik Khairi and canting batik workshops by Ruzzgahara.

The everything-Batik two-day Batik Lestari Festival will not only feature a batik exhibition, fashion shows and demonstrations of batik making but it will also showcase the award winning animation film Batik Girl by R&D Studio.

You can also experience the block batik workshops by Batik maker Encik Khairi and canting batik workshops by Ruzzgahara.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to browse and buy batik pieces or ready-to-wear pieces at a curated batik retail market featuring batik brands such as Bujins Batik, INKAA, Fleur Batik, Ayu Fashion, Fern Batik, Ruzzgahara, Jadi Batek, Ima Batik and Batik Boutique.

Other brands include Udara Batik, Fleur Batik, Ayu Fashion, Ruzzgahara, KAWI, Zandra, Bujins Batik, The Mokara, Batik republik, Batik Boutique, Jadi Batek, Batik Tektura, Sanubari Gifts, Kahazanah Kraf and more.

The Batik Lestari Festival is on from 10am-5pm at the Securities Commission Malaysia in Bukit Kiara on Dec 5-Dec 6, 2024.

The festival is organised by the Securities Commission Malaysia and MyCreative Ventures Group in conjunction with Malaysia’s Asean Chairmanship 2025. Free admission.
