IT is getting difficult to turn a blind eye to the obscene amount of food in dumpsters and landfills.

From edible agricultural yields to ready-to-be-eaten meals, mountains are piling by the day – the average food waste recorded by the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corpo-ration (SWCorp) was 17,000 tonnes daily in 2022 alone.
