HELP University will expand its strategic partnership with Disted College by offering more degree programmes in Penang.

These include undergraduate programmes in accounting, international business, hospitality, marketing, data analytics, and communication (media studies), said the varsity’s vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Paul Chan.

HELP has been offering its psychology degrees to the college since 2009, he said in a press release dated April 6.

“This is the first phase of our strategic collaboration. We will be exploring more competency-based programmes, particularly those that serve the needs of the digital, service and industrial development of Penang.

“This will include professional and executive development training for upskilling and reskilling.

“Priority will also be given to technology-driven education and industrial training,” he added during the recent signing of the memorandum of understanding between HELP and Disted in Penang.

Prof Chan also said the smart partnership would help to build the nation through innovative education.
