> Sunway University Press is calling for entries for The Blue-White Dot Short Story Writing Competition.

> Aspiring authors are invited to embark on a literary journey towards achieving the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

> Entry is free and open to all.

> The story, between 2,500 and 3,500 words in length, can be of any fictional genre but it must be written in English, original, unpublished, and must not infringe the intellectual property, privacy and other rights of any third party.

> The story must be appropriate for a general audience and must not include content that is libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening.

> Stories should be well-written, authentic and creative; embody the message underlying any of the 17 SDGs; and showcase sustainable behaviour, technologies, practices or ideas, and/or illustrate solutions to sustainability issues or conflicts.

> Winning stories will be published in an anthology.

> Winners will receive royalties from the sale of the publication, if any.
