ESU Public Speaking Competition 2022 - Deadline: April 2


> Organised by ESU Malaysia and Taylor’s College with the support of the Malaysian Institute of Debate and Public Speaking (MIDP) and Orbix Education Group.

> Open to Malaysian students aged between 16 and 20 (as at May 9, 2022). > Participants must submit a video of their speech (5 minutes) on the theme “We expect too much from our heroes” by April 2.

> Those who qualify for the semi-finals will have to submit another video of their speech (5 minutes) on the theme “Our real choices are made without us realising it” by April 9.

> All finalists will have to deliver their speech (5 minutes) on the theme “We expect too much from our heroes” at Taylors College Lakeside Campus, Subang Jaya, on April 23 (3pm).

> The Malaysian champion will attend a virtual camp from May 9 - 12 and deliver a speech with the theme “We expect too much from our heroes” on May 13. He/she will be competing against other international participants.

> Participants can have their own interpretations of the theme and they should have their own title for the speech.

> Judging will be based on expression and delivery, reasoning and evidence, organisation and prioritisation, and listening and response.
