Teen debaters win world championship


TEAM Asia Youth Speakers Red comprising Anggun Soracca Jaya, Emma Alyssa and Nadia Nasir made the nation proud when they came out tops in the World Junior Schools Debating Championships 2021 (WJSDC21) lower secondary category.

Debating on the motion “This House Believes that the Internet is Making Us Less Capable”, the team argued from the proposition side against finalists from the United Arab Emirates to bag the title.
