GIVEN the current economic climate, many companies have understandably put a freeze on hiring, and the general sentiment is that it is a job-provider’s, rather than a job-seeker’s, market.

The situation is doubly difficult for recent university graduates, many of whom would normally have expected to find employment immediately upon or soon after graduation.
