UiTM dismisses claim that it will sack 600 part-time lecturers


PETALING JAYA: Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) has dismissed the claim by a news report that it would terminate 600 of its part-time lecturers.

UiTM vice-chancellor Prof Emeritus Datuk Ir Dr Mohd Azraai Kassim in a statement emphasised that the online portal’s report titled “UiTM reassesses 600 part-time lecturers after funding cut" was misinterpreted and caused confusion among various parties.
