MALAY College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK) was given a pat on the back by the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah for performing well in the English subject during last year's Penilian Menengah Rendah (PMR) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations.
All of its 2002 PMR candidates scored As in their English paper and 84% of its 2002 SPM students did likewise, making it the best performer among fully-boarding schools in the country.
