A MONTH and a half on from the state election, which featured autonomy as a key campaign theme, we now have a better idea of how the state government plans to continue its pursuit of regaining Sarawak’s rights and powers from the Federal Government.
In his winding-up speech at the recently-concluded State Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem spoke at length on autonomy and reiterated the state government’s commitment to safeguard Sarawak’s rights and interests.
