Hospital management’s reasoning unacceptable

Dangerously slippery: A leaking roof has caused rainwater to get into HTAR’s Ward 8B. The hospital management should be conducting periodic checks on the building to ensure all is well. — filepic

I REFER to the news report by Elan Perumal on the rodent-infested wards at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) Hospital in Klang.

The term “management” has numerous definitions. In reference to the situation in HTAR Klang, the management stated that “The hospital management should not be blamed” for the dismal cleanliness and the fact that rats are breeding in a medical facility as “they are not responsible for cleaning and maintaining the premises”.
