More than 11,000 participants gathered at Merdeka Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, for the 10th edition of Coway Run, an event that inspires Malaysians to embrace healthier lifestyles, push beyond their perceived limits and unlock their full potential.

This year’s theme, Forward Without Limits, reflected Coway’s belief that growth is an ongoing journey and that every individual has the ability to achieve more through determination, perseverance and continuous self-improvement, the company said in a media statement.

Coway Malaysia marketing division group manager Janice Tan said this year’s run held special significance to celebrate both 20 years of Coway in Malaysia and 10 years of the run.

“Over the past decade, we have seen individuals from all backgrounds come together, set new goals and push beyond what they thought was possible.

“At Coway, we believe everyone possesses untapped potential, and Coway Run was created to inspire people to take that first step towards unlocking it.”

She said the theme reflected the company’s conviction that progress was not defined by perfect conditions, but by the courage and determination to keep moving forward despite obstacles along the way.

“Even in the rain, we saw many runners choosing to persevere, embodying the very spirit of resilience that this year’s event set out to celebrate.

“It was inspiring to see thousands of Malaysians come together, not only to challenge themselves but also support a cause that creates a meaningful impact for communities in need,” Tan added.

Participants from all four categories – which included 10km and a kids run – came together with community spirit.

The atmosphere extended beyond the race routes as participants, families and supporters immersed themselves in a vibrant race village featuring interactive activities, engaging experiences, family-friendly entertainment and an exclusive meet-and-greet with popular Malaysian singer and actor Hael Husaini.

To create impact beyond the race day, RM10 from every ticket sold was channelled towards the Coway Happy Water Project, an initiative dedicated to providing underserved communities with access to clean water, the company said.
