Thirty restaurants nationwide that consistently upheld the standards for a well-served draught have been crowned by an Irish label.

Guinness Top 30 Perfect Pint Bars 2026 winners include 19˚C Bar and Bistro, Kota Kinabalu Sabah; 80’s Bistro Bukit Mertajam, Penang; Brew Garten Taman Daya, Johor Baru, Johor; Haven H Bar, Ipoh, Perak; Hof Brighton Square, Kuching, Sarawak; La Chica Mexican Grill, Petaling Jaya, Selangor; Souled Out in Ampang, Bangsar South, and Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur; and Arthur’s Storehouse in Bukit Jalil and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

The recognition by Guinness Malaysia was part of the nationwide Rate Your Pint campaign, which invited consumers to rate the draught served to them.

Consumers scored their pint via the Perfect Pint Guide, based on three simple checks: serve, tilt and taste.

Consumers submitted over 7,000 ratings across 677 participating outlets nationwide.

The Top 30 were determined through a combined score of Guinness Perfect Pint quality assessments by the Star Academy team and Rate Your Pint consumer ratings.

“When we launched Rate Your Pint, we wanted consumers to better understand what goes into a well-served Guinness draught and gave them a simple way to recognise quality for themselves,” said Heineken Malaysia marketing director Sean O’Donnell.

“The response showed that people do notice the details and the Top 30 recognises the outlets that have consistently put that care into every serve,” he said during the Guinness Perfect Pint Bar Award Night at Arthur’s Storehouse, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Behind these standards is Star Academy, Heineken Malaysia’s training programme, where Guinness trainers worked closely with bartenders to uphold perfect pour standards.

Through the programme, 12 Guinness trainers had trained 1,696 bartenders across 406 outlets nationwide, while Chief Pint Officers continued to help recognise and champion a well-served Guinness draught.
