Superhero excitement at KL cinema launch

SPIDER-MAN fans can expect a fantastic time at Hero Con 2026 – a free-admission superhero celebration at Pavilion Damansara Heights

Launched alongside the opening of TGV Cinemas’ latest outlet in Kuala Lumpur, it marks the cinema operator’s third collaboration with the Pavilion Group.

The five-day convention, which ends on Sunday, is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors.

There are plenty of interactive superhero themed activities, exclusive giveaways and prizes from more than 30 participating brands for visitors.

The event was launched by TGV Cinemas chief executive officer Tan Lay Han and director Shaharul Rezza Hassan, Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd executive chairman Puan Sri Cindy Lim and Impian Ekspresi Sdn Bhd director Datuk Lee Whay Hoong.

It featured Spider-Man cosplayers, lion dance performances and tours of the new cinema and the Hero Con venue.
