A delegation from World Society of Sports and Exercise Medicine (WSSEM) paid a courtesy visit to Penang Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Ramli Ngah Talib.

Led by WSSEM president Datuk Seri Dr Mohamed Mydin Mohd Musa, the group shared their efforts to advance the fields of sports and exercise medicine at the international level.

During the meeting at Seri Mutiara, the Penang Governor’s official residence in George Town, Ramli congratulated WSSEM for organising the World Congress in Sports and Exercise Medicine over the years.

The event brings together experts, researchers, medical practitioners and participants from various countries.

Dr Mohamed Mydin said the congress not only served as a platform for sharing knowledge and innovation in sports medicine, but also elevated Malaysia’s competence and reputation as a hub in sports medicine within the region.

He pledged to expand strategic collaborative networks.

“We hope to make a significant impact on the development of sports medicine and health in Malaysia,” said Dr Mohamad Mydin.
