Hotel cafe also promoting business meeting package that includes King of Fruits
A Putrajaya hotel is hosting a durian feast for guests to savour the seasonal fruit.
At Palms Cafe Terrace, premium durian is being served in a relaxed al fresco setting every Friday and Saturday until September.
The evening sessions run from 5pm to 10pm, subject to availability, and are open to hotel guests as well as the public.
Palm Garden Hotel Putrajaya general manager Marshall Chai said the hotel was pleased to welcome guests back for the seasonal experience.
“This season, guests can enjoy their favourite durian with easy access to buffets, a la carte dining and refreshing beverages to complement the experience,” Chai said.
Visitors can also order food and beverages from the outlet throughout the evening.

Special privileges are extended to Club IOI members, IOI staff and associates of hotels, including Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, Le Meridien Putrajaya, Moxy Putrajaya and Four Points by Sheraton Puchong.
This year’s Durian Hub promotion also comes with a new corporate offering known as the “Durian Meeting Escape Package”.
According to Chai, the package was designed to give meetings and training sessions a more memorable conclusion.
“Imagine ending a productive day of meetings or training sessions with freshly opened durian and refreshing ice kacang.
“No sandwiches. No pastries. Just durian and ice kacang.
“Now that’s a truly Malaysian way to wrap up the day,” Chai added.
Durian Hub is part of the hotel’s annual celebration of Malaysia’s durian season, bringing together guests, locals and the surrounding community.
The launch was attended by Moxy Putrajaya and Palm Garden Putrajaya multi-property senior marketing communications manager Audrey Yap, Palm Garden Hotel sales director Megalah Jeyakumar, executive sous chef Kevin Law, IOI Properties Group assistant general manager of hospitality management Tan Lee Fong and Agro Best Services founder Loke Kah Peng.
