Clearing a path to learning

Recycled exercise books being shipped out to pave the way for access to essential learning resources.

POS Malaysia is delivering educational access and environmental sustainability through a nationwide initiative involving exercise books.

The “Two Million Recycled Exercise Books: Driving Sustainable Education” programme provides the materials to underprivileged students in cooperation with Perbadanan Kota Buku.

Pos Malaysia group chief marketing officer Fiona Liao said, “We are truly proud to be part of this meaningful initiative.

“It shows how Pos Malaysia can make a real difference –empowering students, caring for the environment and supporting the communities we serve.

“Our purpose is simple but powerful: we are passionate about building trust to connect lives and businesses for a better tomorrow.”

According to Pos Malaysia, the initiative has benefitted over 200,000 students nationwide.

Beyond easing the financial burden for families, amounting to an estimated RM2.4mil in savings, the programme also supports environmental conservation by preventing the loss of approximately 2,832 trees through the use of recycled materials, it said.
