Water utility firm spreads festive cheer to needy

AIR Selangor marked Ramadan with a series of community centred programmes under its Sesama Mara Community Investment initiative.

It was one that shared blessings and supported underprivileged groups through food distributions, charitable contributions and festive activities.

The company’s efforts included the preparation and distribution of bubur lambuk, Box of Hope contributions, and Hari Raya Aidilfitri shopping outings for children from a welfare home.

Across the month, 85 Hydro Heroes volunteers, including senior management, joined local communities to cook and distribute 2,500 portions of bubur lambuk.

They also delivered 200 Box of Hope packages containing essential food items to recipients at four locations – Masjid Subang Bestari (Petaling), Masjid Jamek Ar‑Rahimah (Hulu Selangor), Masjid Kota Raja (Klang) and Masjid Jamek Al‑Amaniah (Gombak), reported Bernama.

Air Selangor also hosted 28 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash‑Shakur, Rawang, for a Hari Raya shopping trip.
