Homegrown developer receives another accolade

AN ESTABLISHED property developer in Malaysia has added another feather to its cap.

Mah Sing Group Bhd was recognised by Asia Records for the “Most Cumulative Vacant Possession Units Delivered Across Township and High-Rise Developments in Three Years with an Average QLASSIC Score Above 82”.

This refers to 10,015 vacant possession units delivered from 2023-2025 with an overall average QLASSIC score of 82.06 – 80.60 in 2023, 83.20 in 2024 and 82.33 in 2025.

The recognition underscores Mah Sing’s ability to deliver developments at scale while maintaining consistent construction quality.

The certificate was awarded during an event at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, attended by Mah Sing deputy general manager (strategic communications, corporate responsibility and sustainability) Sue Lim, Tourism Malaysia deputy director-general (promotion II) Samuel Lee Thai Hung, Asean Records and Asia Records managing director Gillian Ooi and its executive director Eldrick Koh.

Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said: “This recognition is a meaningful affirmation of Mah Sing’s long-standing commitment to quality delivery and disciplined execution.

“Over the past three decades, we have consistently focused on building well-constructed, liveable homes while scaling our operations responsibly.

“Delivering more than 10,000 units with sustained QLASSIC scores above 82% reflects the dedication of our teams and our emphasis on quality, governance and customer trust.
