Bank has ‘an eye’ on the community

THANKS to a RM75,000 contribution from a bank and its staff, underserved interior communities will receive diabetic retinopathy (DR) screening over a 10-year period to help avoid irreversible blindness.

With the help of OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Bhd (OCBC Bank), St John Ambulance of Malaysia (SJAM ) will instal an artificial intelligence-powered Veri­See DR Fundus Camera on their medical bus which provides health screenings to people in remote areas.
