FUTUREFIRST Solutions Sdn Bhd clinched the Malaysia Top Achievers 2025 (Mata) award for Industry Excellence in Organisational Leadership.

The award recognises the groundbreaking “Cheetah Chase” programme, a homegrown leadership innovative integration of neuroscience, digital learning and executive coaching to empower organisations and professionals

The award was presented at the Mata event organised by The Leaders Online and MyEvents International in Kuala Lumpur.

The accolade came fresh off the back of the “Summit of the Titans” in Petaling Jaya, which brought together more than 150 chief human resources officers (CHROs), general managers, and learning directors from Fortune 500 companies and government-linked corporations.

The author of “Cheetah Chase: Sprinting Towards Success in the Global Business Jungle” is FutureFirst Solutions global vice-president of human resources Shankar Nagalingam, who has over 30 years of working in Fortune 500 companies, while Dr Chanthiran Veerasamy edited the book.

Chanthiran is also a leadership development expert, book editor and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Fellow.

Together they created Malaysia’s first globally accredited leadership programme, endorsed by CMI United Kingdom which is the world’s leading management body.

“This is more than a programme launch. It is proof that Malaysian innovation can compete on the global stage,” said Shankar, who has held senior roles at Dell Technologies, Western Digital, and Clarivate.

The “Summit of the Titans” showcased Malaysia’s growing reputation in digital leadership.

“Industry leaders from Lenovo Malaysia, Dell Technologies Malaysia and Experian Malaysia contributed to high-level discussions on digital transformation and human capital strategies,” said Shankar.

The event also drew strong support from partners including UOA Academy, Dunville International, Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC), Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) and TechnoMech, further cementing Malaysia’s position as a rising hub for global leadership development.

Shankar said what set “Cheetah Chase” apart was its six “Legendary Sprints” methodology that integrated gamification, clinical hypnosis techniques and International Coaching Federation (ICF)-certified executive coaching.

The framework, he said, sharpened six critical leadership domains, namely authentic leadership, emotional mastery, swift perception, team empowerment, agility and continuous learning.

He said each participant in the programme received a personalised Cheetah Compass Report, executive coaching sessions with ICF US-certified coaches and lifetime access to its learning ecosystem.

“The CMI UK accreditation places ‘Cheetah Chase’ among the world’s premier leadership methodologies, boosting the global career prospects of its graduates.

“Chief executive officers and CHROs consistently tell us they see immediate transformational change in their ‘Cheetarians’,” said Shankar.

He said as Malaysia positioned itself as a leader in the digital economy, “Cheetah Chase” stood as proof of local brilliance with global impact.

“From KL boardrooms to multinational corporations worldwide, the programme is reshaping leadership transformation.

“The launch of Cheetah Chase: Sprinting Towards Success in the Global Business Jungle marks another milestone, offering leaders across the world a blueprint for navigating today’s complex business landscape,” Shankar added.

Chanthiran said: “We’re not just training leaders; we’re transforming them at the neurological level.”

He said the research involving 138 global leaders validated the programme’s effectiveness, recording 47% increase in leadership confidence, 52% improvement in team performance, 55% boost in innovation culture and 49% faster decision-making.

“In just six months, over 350 leaders from 20 multinational corporations completed the programme, with projections to reach 600 by the end of 2025.

The team is developing “Cheetah Chase 2.0”, set for launch in early 2026.

The next-generation programme will integrate brainwave reading technology, translating neural activity into measurable leadership competencies.
