High life of building, maintaining cities

In THE Klang Valley and beyond, skylines are punctuated by an impressive array of landmarks, each a testament to the areas’ rapid urban evolution and socioeconomic vitality.

From sleek residential high-rises to commanding office towers and stately government complexes, unique architecture defines these skyscrapers.

Yet beyond the glass facades and sculptural silhouettes lies an often overlooked part – the workers going about their high-risk jobs to construct and preserve these structures.

Each day, construction crews, maintenance teams and technical specialists scale heights and navigate confined spaces, undertaking demanding and sometimes dangerous work, to ensure the functionality of these spaces.

Their contributions are largely behind the scenes, yet without them, these architectural structures may start to deteriorate.

With unpredictable weather further complicating their tasks, prioritising their safety should be of utmost concern.
