Pasta brand unveils heart-shaped delight for joyful moments

Pesto Genovese with Mediterranean flavours, made using Barilla’s heart-shaped pasta.

ONE key bonding experience for Malaysians is at the dining table, where a home-cooked meal warms our hearts.

To help foodies foster cherished connections with their loved ones, Barilla – a pasta and pasta sauce brand in Italy – has crafted a unique pasta shape to elevate those special moments at home.

The limited edition heart-shaped pasta makes for a unique treat for parents on World Parents Day, a romantic dinner or a joyful gathering with friends.

Crafted with precision, this pasta brings a touch of creativity and fun to the dining table.

The pasta is made in Italy with 100% high-quality durum wheat.

It features a unique thickness that strikes the ideal balance between texture and elasticity.

Its double-heart design also provides a special textural contrast, with one heart having a smooth surface and the other partially ridged, to enhance the tasting experience.

“At Barilla, we believe that food can be an expression of affection and has the unique power to bring people together,” said Melissa Chin, Barilla South Asia and South-East Asia’s head of categories and marketing.

“That’s why we are thrilled to offer our heart-shaped pasta nationwide, a playful and delicious way to celebrate love in all its forms.”

The limited edition heart-shaped pasta will be progressively available from May onwards at selected Malaysian retailers, including Aeon, Isetan, Jaya Grocer, Mercato and Village Grocer.
