Bazaar celebrates women’s strength, drive

Vendors from Caring Moms and Komuniti Tukang Jahit participated in the International Women’s Day bazaar held at d'Tempat Country Club in Bandar Sri Sendayan.

A GROUP of female entrepreneurs were given the spotlight at a bazaar organised by Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd in Negri Sembilan to mark International Women’s Day.

Held at d’Tempat Country Club in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Seremban, the one-day event featured 44 booths offering a variety of products and services including handmade jewellery, clothing, henna art, food and eco-friendly items.

For the event, the Bandar Sri Sendayan developer joined up with two organisations – Caring Moms and Komuniti Tukang Jahit – that help empower women, particularly homemakers, by providing them guidance, skills and opportunities to become financially independent.

Caring Moms is an entrepreneurial development platform, that connects women with individuals and corporations while Komuniti Tukang Jahit offers upskill sewing training and job opportunities to homemakers.

Matrix Concepts property development division co-chief executive officer Tan Sze Chee said the event reflected the importance of cultivating a supportive ecosystem where women could thrive, innovate and lead in all aspects of life.

“This event is a testament to the power of collaboration, inclusivity and unity.

“When we create platforms for women to connect and uplift one another, we strengthen communities,” she said.

Tan said the event also honoured women and recognised their strength in overcoming challenges through their roles as leaders, mentors, mothers, wives and daughters.

“Whether you are excelling in your career, nurturing your family, or making a difference in your community, your impact is profound,” she said.

Matrix Concepts property development division co-chief executive officer Chai Keng Wai said the company was committed to nurturing environments for women and enriching their lives.

“We strive to create an ecosystem where women’s voices are heard, their ideas valued and contributions recognised.”

The event also included health talks by doctors from Mawar Medical Centre Seremban.
