Negri museum charging entry fee for galleries

ENTRANCE fees are now being charged at exhibition galleries of Negri Sembilan State Museum located in the Seremban Cultural Complex.

For 40 years, visitors had been allowed free admission to the galleries.

According to a statement from the Negri Sembilan Museum Board, the fee for Malaysian citizens is set at RM6 (adults) and RM1 (schoolchildren).

Children under six, persons with disabilities and senior citizens can enter for free, while non-citizens will be charged RM10, as reported by Bernama.

The museum is open from 9am to 5pm daily, except on Mondays and during the first days of Aidilfitri and Aidiladha.

Other museums under Negri Sembilan Museum Board will continue to offer free admission.
