HARI Raya Aidilfitri is a cherished time for families and friends to reunite in the spirit of balik kampung, embracing the celebration with love, laughter and heartfelt moments of togetherness.

This year, Queensbay Mall invites you on a journey across Malaysia’s breathtaking East Coast with the theme “Eksplorasi Raya”, a festive celebration inspired by the vibrant cultures of Terengganu and Kelantan.

Bringing the East Coast to life

The Centre Atrium will be transformed into a beachside holiday haven, capturing the laid-back charm of Raya by the sea.

Expect colourful beach huts, charming gazebos, cosy beach chairs, coconut trees, camping tents and delightful decorative elements that bring the coastal vibe to life.

To enhance the festive ambiance, the space will be illuminated with twinkling Raya lights, traditional Pelita lamps, moon and star motifs, and a magnificent wau – the iconic kite of Kelantan.

Meanwhile, floor decals featuring turtles and hatchlings highlight Terengganu’s status as Malaysia’s top nesting ground for these gentle creatures. Blue hues dominate the decor, evoking the calming beauty of the seaside.

Celebrating culture and tradition

As part of Queensbay Mall’s commitment to promoting Visit Malaysia 2026, the rich Islamic traditions and cultural heritage of Terengganu and Kelantan will be highlighted. Throughout the campaign, visitors can enjoy captivating traditional performances from Dewan Budaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Experience the rhythmic beats of Rebana Ubi, the graceful movements of Joget, Gamelan, Patendu-Patende and the iconic Wau Bulan dance – all authentic cultural treasures from Malaysia’s East Coast.

Exciting festivities await

The celebrations offer a line-up of engaging activities for all ages. Little ones are in for a treat with a line-up of fun designed just for them such as the Q-Kids activities.

Let their creativity shine in the Sampul Raya Workshop, where they can design and decorate their very own festive Raya packets. This hands-on activity not only sparks imagination but also introduces them to the tradition of gifting during Hari Raya.

At the Mini Labu Sayong Painting Workshop, young participants will get to paint and personalise their very own Labu Sayong – a traditional Malay water vessel known for its unique shape and cultural significance.

This traditional water pitcher, crafted from earthenware clay, is a treasured part of Malay heritage.

In the past, Labu Sayong was the go-to for keeping water refreshingly cool, thanks to its natural earthenware properties. This workshop is all about bringing that heritage to life, giving a new generation the chance to experience this timeless craft firsthand.

Adding to the excitement, kids can look forward to special mascot appearances, bringing smiles and laughter as their favourite characters make surprise visits. Meanwhile, the balloon giveaway will add a splash of colour and joy. The festivities wouldn’t be complete without a Raya Fashion Show, where young fashionistas can strut their stuff in stylish and festive outfits.

Exclusive redemptions for shoppers

The celebrations don’t stop at just activities – shoppers can redeem exciting rewards with their purchases throughout the campaign. Enjoy festive treats like Hari Raya packets and Richeese cash vouchers, perfect for adding a little extra joy to the season.

Pamper yourself with The Body Shop cash vouchers or take home wellness goodies from Himalaya. For those seeking a refreshing treat, Mixue ice cream or lemonade is up for grabs. With so much to explore and enjoy, Queensbay Mall’s Eksplorasi Raya promises to be a celebration to remember. Don’t miss out on the fun – bring your family and friends for a truly festive experience.
