WHAT better time and place to get your photo taken than against the colourful and bright decorations at Kwai Chai Hong during Chinese New Year.
Kwai Chai Hong, which means “Little Ghost Lane” or “Little Demon Alley” is at Lorong Panggung in Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur.
The alley is a restored heritage lane that takes one back in time to the city’s bygone days.
The area, popular for street art, is decorated with seasonal art installations.
To welcome in the Year of the Snake, a plethora of lanterns as emblems of good tidings such as luck and prosperity await visitors at the “Bountiful Blessings” installation based on the theme of abundance.
Visitors can drop in to soak up the atmosphere or enjoy nearby Petaling Street for shopping, bargains or local food and beverages.
The installation at Kwai Chai Hong will be up until Feb 16 and the public can visit from 9am to midnight.
Admission is free.
