IN anticipation of the upcoming Chinese New Year, the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Sibu Branch decked out its premises in colourful decorations.

PBSMM Sibu Branch chairman Penghulu Chua Hiong Kee said, “Each time major festivals such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Gawai Dayak and Christmas come around, we make it a point to decorate our office accordingly.

“It serves as a gesture of appreciation and unity, allowing us to celebrate alongside our diverse community.

“May the Chinese New Year bring fresh hope and enthusiasm, motivating us to continue delivering our best service to the people of Sibu in the year ahead.”
