400 youths battle it out in MBSA esports competition for cash prizes

FOUR hundred contestants participated in the Shah Alam E-Sports Championship.

The event hosted by Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) took place at Plaza Shah Alam, Selangor.

The event, which was open to the public, held battles on popular games Mobile Legends and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).

The Mobile Legends competition was won by GBX MKBB after they defeated Miracle Gaming.

In the PUBG tournament, Team DACS XVICTIM emerged victorious against Royal Highness.

GBX MKBB and Team DACS XVICTIM each received RM1,500 for placing first.

First runners-up received RM1,000 each while second runners-up won RM600 each.

MBSA said the competition aimed to provide a platform for youth to showcase their abilities in esports.

Shah Alam mayor Datuk Mohd Fauzi Mohd Yatim presented the trophies and cheques to the winners.
