Aman Central announces exciting initiatives in the coming months

Aman Central, known for the much- anticipated Kedah Fashion Week (KFW), is looking for talents to be featured in their upcoming campaigns.

With this in mind, the mall will be running a contest, making it a unique component to the three-day fashion extravaganza.

In an exclusive sneak peek, Aman Central assistant general manager Ken Chin revealed that the contest, titled “Face of Aman Central” (FOAC), will break new heights and surpass KFW’s editions in previous years.

In addition, the contest will be held on TikTok, further offering an exclusive experience.

He said that the contest is sure to bring a new level of charm and unforgettable experience for event-goers.

Chin hopes that the contest will elevate the KFW and become a significant event that will carry weight in the tourism industry.

Building on the momentum of last year’s triumphant comeback of KFW, this new contest will pave the way for young adults to be inspired by unparalleled opportunities.

Emerging talents will have the chance to become role models and build a platform to garner future opportunities and reach their goals.

“We are looking for fans to model for our upcoming 2024/25 campaigns.

“This contest presents the perfect opportunity for two lucky winners to be featured in Aman Central’s 2024 and 2025 campaigns,” Chin shared.

Apart from that, the winners will each receive a cash prize of RM10,000, and the many opportunities to attend exclusive events and take home beauty products and jewellery, as well as other attractive benefits.

Registration is open to applicants from any country, as long as they are over the age of 18 and have the necessary documentation to remain in Malaysia for the duration of the contest.

Shortlisted participants will need to present themselves in person before a panel of judges on Sept 6, 2024.

Celebrating parents: a throwback challenge

Aman Central has been celebrating Parent’s Day for years, recognising and appreciating the vital role of parents in nurturing and bringing up children.

This year, Aman Central will be collaborating with Swarovski for a special giveaway.

Participants will have to recreate how pictures were taken back in the day, similar to how their parents used to do so.

The mechanic is simple: to join, participants are required to follow Aman Central’s official TikTok account, submit the video with the hashtags #ACContest, #fyp, and #ACTikTokchallenge.

Participants do need to ensure that their account is set to public.

The top 20 submissions stand a chance to win a Swarovski bracelet. Contest ends on June 23.

Hari Raya Haji bazaar experience

As Hari Raya Aidiladha approaches, Aman Central encourages mall-goers to visit and experience the best of celebrations that the mall has to offer.

The celebrations will feature a fusion of Moroccan decorations combined with Malay batik motifs, artistic hanging installations with floral crafts, and standing art elements.

Aman Central aims to create an atmosphere of grandeur, reminiscent of a grand bazaar, through the combination of turquoise and yellow decorations.

These features are designed to reflect the festive spirit of Eid Al-Adha for families to take pleasure in.

The Eid Al-Adha Bazaar will be open to the public from now to June 16. Head over to Aman Central for a season of celebration, joy, and unforgettable experiences.
