PANADOL’s win at the Putra Brand Awards 2023, where it bagged platinum in the health category, shows that the brand continues to be the preferred choice for Malaysians as an over-the-counter (OTC) product.

Haleon Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei cluster general manager Bryan Wong, in thanking the brand’s loyal customers and dedicated team for the achievement, said they were thrilled to receive the award for the ninth year in a row.

“This recognition is a testament to our dedication in providing customers with trusted household solutions.”

A NielsenIQ study said nine out of 10 Malaysians trust Panadol.

Wong said that as the category leader, Panadol’s focus was to drive trust and education through a nationwide campaign, as the brand noted that Malaysians were increasingly prioritising self-care.

“The use of analgesics is expected to continue a steady growth trajectory, and we believe that it is our responsibility to raise public awareness of the safety and efficacy of paracetamol ― an active ingredient in Panadol.

“We urge Malaysians to take care of themselves with accurate guidance on the proper usage of paracetamol,” he added.

The brand had rolled out educational videos and guidelines across multiple platforms, including digital channels, media platforms, and in-store at local retailers nationwide.

“With its continued commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Panadol is poised to retain its position as a leader in the industry for years to come,” said Wong.
