A CHINESE New Year dinner hosted by a businessman and his wife was graced by members of the Selangor royal family.

Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah were among the many guests at the festive dinner hosted by Tan Sri Dr Jason Goh Teck Chai and his wife Puan Sri Pernille Goh at the Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The Superaya Corporation Sdn Bhd and Asia Herbal Biotech Sdn Bhd executive directors welcomed the royals, ministers, government officials, foreign dignitaries, business partners and friends to an evening of food, entertainment and merrymaking to foster unity.

Jason said the Year of the Dragon would bring strength, vision and courage that could push people towards achieving their dreams.

“Let’s take risks, pursue dreams and work together to build a prosperous Malaysia.

“Let’s collaborate with each other, show respect and tackle challenges as one,” he said in his speech.

Jason also said dragons were known to be adaptable and this admirable trait should be emulated to weather any storms ahead.

A lion dance troupe and live band entertained the 200 guests that evening.
