THE Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) has relocated a wild elephant that was reported to have been roaming in an Orang Asli settlement in Sungai Siput, Perak, for almost a month.
State Perhilitan director Yusoff Shariff said the male elephant, weighing about 1.8 tonnes, with the moniker Aga Legap, was believed to have wandered from the ID Piah elephant herd in a nearby forest reserve.
