Enchanting wonderland

ALMOST a million colourful light bulbs are illuminating Luna Lights Wonderland 2023 showcase, creating a magical atmosphere in Taman Malaysia, Seremban, Negri Sembilan.

The event has attracted thousands of visitors since it opened on Aug 25.

Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun hoped the event at the 4.04ha park will attract more visitors to Seremban.

Highlights include the almost 11m-high Luna mascot while the attractions revolve around five themes, namely space, aquatic and animal life, romance and forests.

Other things to look out for include the LED picnic area, the Aurora River, 18m-Tree Of Life, Tunnel of Love, Star Wars tunnel and Avatar tunnel.

There are also food stalls and photo booths.

Seremban mayor Datuk Masri Razali told Bernama that the event was jointly organised by Seremban City Council and Red Bear Event.

He said Taman Malaysia was chosen as the venue because it is a natural forest.

Luna Lights Wonderland will be held in 10 states, with Negri Sembilan the second to play host after Kedah.

Tickets are priced at RM15 for adults and RM8 for children aged 12 and below.

It is ongoing in Seremban until Sept 24.
