Sibu and Miri hospitals to be upgraded

THE government hospitals in Sibu and Miri are earmarked to be upgraded into regional hospitals to provide more and better services to the people in the northern and central zones of Sarawak, says a local MP.

Sibu MP Oscar Ling said a special select committee had been formed to oversee the project, which included pushing for a heart and cancer unit at Hospital Sibu.
