RM500,000 for needy students

A BANK recently presented RM500,000 to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak through a wakaf collection to improve the lives of over 110 underprivileged students in Sarawak.

The funds will primarily be used to build emergency exits that comply with fire and safety requirements at Rumah Wakaf Habibah in Kuching and Akademi Tahfiz Hidayatul Quran Annur in Sibu. It will also be used to provide transportation for the students.
