IT WAS a night of high fashion gala when Amway Malaysia held its national leadership conference and dinner after a two-year hiatus.
Some 4,000 Amway regional distributors attended the event at Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Mitec) in Kuala Lumpur.
They were all dressed in their most glamorous outfits to meet the Paris-Inspired Haute Couture theme.
Amway Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei managing director Mike Duong expressed excitement at being able to meet physically again after the Covid-19 pandemic.
“For two consecutive years, Amway leaders participated in the annual dinner virtually from their home.
“This year, we are grateful that everyone can reunite for Amway’s biggest event, alongside 500 who are joining us virtually.
“These business leaders service and support nearly one million customers, helping to build Amway’s business,” he said.
Duong also announced that Amway’s leadership seminar next year would take place in Paris, France.
The seminar, which is by invitation, is an incentive trip for qualified distributors, with all expenses paid for.
Traditionally, the programme runs for about a week, and is held within the third or fourth quarter of the year.
There was also a fashion show by Starz Secret, whose models featured accessories and clothing items from various brands.
Among names that were featured were CA Jewelry & Accessories and Crisathena, both a popular luxury brand with French influences.
There were also special draws with prizes sponsored by Qatar Airways, Pavilion Group and Marriott International.
Amway is a multi-level marketing company that sells health, beauty, and home care products, among others.
